My new companion, Elder Butler. My new area, Ciudad Espana. Daaang!! Craazy week filled with a lot of surprises. It was a little sad saying bye to my jomis in Tiloarque. I made a lot of good friends there but I got there deets to contact them so it's all chill. Anyway... the mish got a little stressful again but I dig it. I like the bigger responsibilities. Area: Ciudad Espana (Little town where all of the gangsters live so they don't get caught killing, smoking weed, etc) Comp: Elder Butler (Texas) Super chill, dope guy. Assignation: District Leader (In charge of 5 companionships haha as big as my last ZONE) I have to call them every single night but I'm already used to it. This week I got to meet a lot of new people, investigators and members. I've gotten a toooon of compliments on my Spanish and people keep asking me if I already knew it before the mish. I don't know what's up but I like it. My comp got sick this week on Friday morning. He was throwing up like crazy! He was throwing up and going to the bathroom all day so we didn't end up working, and diarreah too. I felt bad for him so I gave him a blessing. He's all good now but he's still crapping quite a bit haha. We went ham this week working like craaazy and found 18 new investigators and 10 of them went to the church! We don't ever knock doors here. We just find big groups in the street and teach them. If they're interested we ask them where they live so we can visit them. This area is reeeeaaallly small and kind of creep. It's called Ciudad Espana because after the Hurricane Mich in 1998 a ton of people lost everything they had including their houses, so a Spanish organization built a little city for them to live in. It's in the middle of nowhere and takes us an hour in a bus to get to the city. All of the gangsters live there and it constantly smells like weed. The sucky thing about this area is that we don't get that much food from the members so we have to buy food. There is not even one food place here, just pulperias with snacks so I basically survived off of that this week. But now that we're in the city I'm gonna buy some real food to make. I actually like the area. It's really chill and the weather is pretty nice. I hope to have a lot of success in this area and I know if we keep working hard the Lord will bless us with baptisms. Peace out. Until next week. Some pics of my new apartment. GULP. My face when I saw the bathroom.
