Hola Amigos, Hey how's it going guys? That's good! (Or: Daaang that's too bad if things aren't good) Anyway, let me start off by saying that our P'day last week was sooo dope! We got to play paintball! Who would've thought that I'd be chillin out here in Hond playing paintball? It was super fun because we did district vs. district. (we won) I bought a shirt from a thrift store.... wait a sec, pretty much everystore here is a thrift shop. The shirt says loco por Cristo. Pretty dope if you asked me haha. On Fridays after our district meeting we always eat at Foodmall. In Foodmall they have T.V's playing music, futbol, and a bunch of other stuff. This Friday was special because the luche libre was on. We couldn't stop laughing! They are such bad actors and there was a point where they started biting each other!!! On Saturday we had a Tarde Blanca. That's when the zone gets together in a church and we have a giant baptism with all of our investigators. We had 1 baptism on Saturday. Daniel. I think I already told you about him. It was cool and pretty spiritual. I've been studying a lot about humility lately. I'm obsessed with studying the attributes of Cristo. I've been trying to increase my humility and put my trust in God. We can show our humility by real sincere prayer, thanking God and asking for what we need. We must constantly show God that we depend on him and that we are willing to do whatever it is that he wants for us. I challenge you guys to make your prayers more sincere. Sometimes we get caught up in saying the same things over and over and that is not real prayer. We must talk to God with our heart. He knows our thoughts and feelings and is waiting for us to share with him. Have a good week. Peace! P.S. This week we had little interviews with the mission president's wife and I had to show her my agenda and she checks every page. I think she got creeped cause I draw some wwwwiiiieeerd stuff in there. It was a little awkward because she was giving me some weird looks after seeing my drawings. Alright. See ya. Elder Sullivan

Hola Amigos, This week started off with a multizone at the temple! I got to see my Elder Valadez and Elder Clegg and some other homies. We learned a lot in the multizone about working more with members so we are gonna hit that up. Our fecha came to church!!!!! Daniel is gonna be baptised this Saturday! I am happy and grateful for the success the Lord is giving us during this training. We have found even more people that have a good possibility of being baptised! I'm sorry to let you guys down, but I honestly don't have anything else to write for this past week. Gulp. Anyway. Have a good week! Elder Sullivan Hola Amigos, Guuuyyys I'm back and I'm better! I hope you know who says that. (James Harden) This week was filled with some dope stuff and It started out perfectly with P'day! It was P'day of the district! So we decided to hit up Wendy's! It was probably the nicest place I've been in in all of my mision which is pretty sad to say. But I had an omelette and an Oreo milkshake. It was sooooo good! Anyway that was a great start to the week. We have another date for a baptism on the 24th and I'm pretty sure it's gonna go down. His name is Daniel and he has 12 years. He likes the church and he wants to get baptised. If he goes to church this next week he can be baptised! I did some more drawing homework for some girl. I had to draw some guy smoking weed to show the effect drugs have on people haha it was a really funny pic. I felt weird drawing it cause.. I mean come on! We threw a suprise birthday party in the church for Elder Rocha. He's a homie of mine from Mexico! We ate this cake, it was caramel tres leches. Suuuuper good stuff! I drew a bunch of stuff and some creepy guys on the white board to suprise him even more. We had a tism this week! Finally, I was waiting so long to be able to baptise Diego. He's 9 and everyone in his family is a member except for him. Well now he is. At first the family was really inactive but now they go every week. Guys I just have to tell you what happened it wasssss sosooooo funny! So my comp baptised Diego, but this was his first tism so he didn''t really know what was up. He said the prayer correctly, but he didn't put Diego all the way under water! His whole arm was out! I'm not exaggerating, but it took another 5 times to finally baptise him!!!!!!!! I was laughing, well trying not to but you know how it goes. It's still a tad bit death training my comp but I've gotten used to it and things are better now. I hope to be able to have even more success! Adios cipotes y guirros! Elder Sullivan Hola Amigos,
Hey! How's it goin? Another week down with Elder Jimenez. To be honest it's been a little difficult these days. He's just not my type of companion you feel? I am focusing on learning something from him. I know the Lord has put me with him for a reason and I'm in the process of finding out why. This week I got to go out on Intercambios with Elder Roberts! He's my zone leader again, but now in Zona Country. He came to my area and we put down a baptismal date for the 24th. Also one day this week my comp went out and worked with the ward mission leader and I went with the stake mission leader. It was a good experience and we found some new homies to share the gospel with. Saturday was definetely the best day of the week for me. We had the oportunity to go the Chapel of Palmiyra in Tegucigalpa. We got together with Mission Tegucigalpa. I got to talk with Malan Sherman who's in that mish. He went to high school with me by the way. He's doing good and his area right now is a whole island! We listened to some dope speakers. Elder Cook from the 12 and Elder Gong from the Seventies and some other people. Elder Cook talked a lot about missionary work but he said a few things that can apply to all of us like "Spiritual enlargement equals growth and joy."When he bore his testimony he told us write this down and remember what he was about to say for the rest of our lives: "I know his voice. I know his face." He was talking about our Savior, but dang that hit me hard and I was trippin for a while just wondering what happened to get his testimony sooo strong! Elder Sullivan |
