Well I guess i hit the half way mark dang it was fast if you asked me. People say the second year goes even faster well see what happens. I had to go to Migration finally haha i saw all my homies from the ccm there we had to turn in a bunch of information we were waiting for 3 hours! Anyway ill recieve a card soon that says im all chill to live here.
We have a new investigator and she allready has a date to be baptized on the 18th. shes lived in Roatan her whole life shes only her to study in the university and then shell return. but yeah you guys should look up roatan its an island of the coast of honduras suuuuper doope id like to go there someday. I did intercambios with my zl elder hamilton hes from sacremento california. we always talk about the nba and how its sooo messed up these days with lebron on the lakers. thats so nasty i cant even imagine him wearing that jersey. but hamilton goes home in a week and a half so during the interchange we just talked about home it got a tad bit sad for me cause i still have a year haha but i still want to be out here because ive learned so much and i still have a lot more to learn. Alma 32 is a great chapter in the book of mormon. This week i studied a lot about faith and this chapter can help a lot if you are lacking faith and hope in your life.

Sorry for not writing that much these days. I'll try and give you guys a tad more to read this week!
I'm a tad creeped because of the strictness of our president. He is interviewing every missionary in these first 2 weeks. So when President Ferman left the mission he sent home a few bros that weren't good missionaries to clean the mish and leave it good for Pres. Mejia. BUT... President Mejia showed up and the first time we saw him he told us I don't care if there's only 80 missionaries left in this mission. I want good missionaries. In the first week he already sent home 6. We saw one of them crying in a bus on the way to our interview. I was scared. I thought we were being good missionaries, but after our interview the pres said no more playing basketball in the mornings! We aren't allowed to play sports anymore except for on P-days. Well this week we received a supposedly reference of gold. The missionaries called us on Saturday and gave us the number of a lady that was very interested in learning about our church and going on Sunday. So we called her and we set an appointment at 7 that night. She told us where she lived and told us to call her when we got there. We arrived and called and knocked and called and no answer. The next morning, Sunday, we called her to invite her to church. She answered and she told me yeah I'll be there at 9. Wait for me in front of the church. We waited 30 minutes and she never showed. We called and no answer. we were pretty bummed, but we have 2 baptisms lined up for August. I've been pretty happy because a lot of homies say my Spanish is really good and if I didn't have brown hair and green eyes they'd think I was Latino. My comp says I pretty much don't have a gringo accent, it just soometimes slips out everyonce in a while especially when I'm tired. But I think that after another year I'll be pretty good I hooooope. I read a dope chapter the the bom this week. Alma 5. This chapter is a good machete and pep up talk to those that are falling behind in the gospel and not keeping all of the commandments. After reading this chapter it really made me look at things in an eternal perspective. A lot of times as human beings we get caught up in worldly things and we lose our focus of receiving eternal life. Thats why Sundays are so important. It reminds us to be thankful for our lives for Jesus Christ, and to commit ourselves to live righteous another week. And if we do it we will have the spirit to help guide us along the way. I invite you guys to read the chapter and imagine yourself in the situations it talks about. Have a greaaaat weeek!!! Dannnng we worked hard this week. We contacted every single day looking for some new homies to teach. I don't like contacting but it's something that our pres wants us to do a ton soooo ni modo va? We ended up finding a ton of new investigators! I also got to do interchanges and be in my old trio. It was super dope! Garcia and Santay are some dope guys. Me and my comp have been playing basketball in the mornings and I'm suprised that I can still play pretty good. Ahha, but I'm not sure if it's because I'm good or everyone here is bad. This week some members wanted me to say the prayer to bless the food in English and it was sooooo hard. I'm serious!!! I'm glad they couldn't understand me because I don't even think it was correct English, haha. I'm so scared for when I have to give my homecoming talk! Our goooood investigators Damaris and her daughter Scarlet went to church this Sunday. We were really happy. We basically know that they are gonna be baptised. That's all for this week if you asked me. Enjoy your week.
We received a new mission president. His name is Elder Mejia. We had a meeting with him and he told us his life story basically. He seems chill, but he's really strict and threw in a bunch of new rules. One of them is that we have to talk to ten people or more every day and others. Well not else much happened this week. Honestly we just contacted the whole week. We found some goooood investigators. They were from a reference we received. It is a mom and a daughter. They are very interested in the message. In the first lesson we felt the spirit really strong. The lady even started taking notes on what we were saying. Also, some dope members fed us banana splits. Alan couldn't be baptized because his mom still won't sign the paper. Honestly nothing else happened, but have a great week! We have a shower, but no hot water.
Christian and his new companion, Elder Flores Good week I'm diggin it here in Tilo. I don't have much to tell you guys but a few dope things went down if you asked me. Well we found a new sketchy place in our area. We were looking for an investigator and someone gave us directions to where she lives. They call it "El Hoyo" or "The Hole." It even sounds creepy man! My comp had never been there either but we went searching. We ended up on this long skinny street. As we were walking we saw some weird things. First, an 11 year old girl with tats and piercings smoking a cig. Then, a 15 year old guy with scars all over his face smoking weed, and then! a dude came out of a house with a bag over his face with smoke coming out!! My comp and I just said "Buenas" or "Good afternoon" and one of them just said, in a deep stoner voice, "Macizoooo" or "Doooope." We ended up finding the house at the very end and the lady that answered was suuuper nice! What a surprise, haha. We had a baptism this week! A 14 year old girl named Alejandra. She had been going to church for a couple of months. It was just the parents that didn't want her to get baptized. My old comp came to my area on interchanges and we talked to the parents and we convinced them. Then we did the interview that same day it was dope! We are working on another tism for this Saturday. His name is Allan. He's 13 but his mom doesn't want him to get baptized so we'll see what goes down. We're gonna be looking for some more homies to teach this week so we can have more baptisms later. Peace out guys have a good week porfa. The World Cup! Yessss!!!
