Heeeeey creeds! Another week in the grill! Literally man it's been hoooot these days and my tan lines are definotely creepin me out more and more each day guuulp. Anyway it was a good week. We have been applying what Elder Uceda taught us and it's working pretty good. 4 of our investigators went to church this Sunday! The bad news is that we aren't gonna baptize this month anymore because the investigator didn't go to church. We are going to marry a couple though! The boyfriend is a member but the girl isn't and she has a kid that has 9 years so there are 2 baptisms for April. The time is passing too fast! Tomorrow i'll have 20 months in the mish! I'm still working and doing my best so I can feel good after it's done. Cheque pue ahi nos vidrios !

Great week! We were able to listen to Elder Uceda 2 days this week! He talked to our mission one day and to all of the Z.Ls the other day. He taught us a lot of cool things to try in order to work more efficiently. We almost had a baptism this week but he still wasn't ready. He has a new baptismal date for the 30th. We have so many good investigators and I hope I'll be here in the area to see them all get baptized!
I tanned like a sith this week. We were exploring new parts of our area especially the poor ones. We've been waking up at 4:45 to go to a dope park by our house. They have exercise machines there, even a bench press and pull up bars. We run on the track too. I gotta get prepared for when I get back if you feel what I'm saying haha. Cheque criaturas, Elder Sullivan My new comp Elder Tun is chiiill! We worked super hard this week. It went by really slow but that's how every change starts off.
We went to an investigators house and this dude came out with a beer bottle in his hand super drunk. He's from Costa Rica and he's super rich because he owns tons of hotels and coffee fields in Honduras. He tried giving us his Costa Rican ID, but we were like dude you need this. He put his arms on our shoulders and said aight I'm gonna bless you right now. He talked English perfectly but he started praying half Spanish half English and started swearing haha! He was like yeah I lived in Huntington Beach and said yeah I'm a surfer duude but I have a disease. I'm an alcoholic. It was funny but sad. We've been working with lots of couples that have to get married but we have dates planned for them and everything. We should have at least 1 baptism this month and 2 or 3 in April. but it's crazy that the change ends on the 15th of April so were gonna go ham and try to baptize before they send me out of here. I stayed in las casitas and got a new companion. His name is Elder Tun from Mexico. He has 16 months in the mission. Good guy! I met him like 2 hours ago haha.
Theres this bolo in our area. We contacted him one day and he told us his name (benito sanchez) and where he lived. We actually went to visit him one day. It was sad cause he lives alone and his family doesn't like him at all because of his addiction. But everytime we see him in the street we're like "hey benito sanchez hows it going!" Like 2 weeks passed without seeing him but yesterday we were teaching a lesson in on the front porch of a house and in the middle of the lesson he pops his head over the fence and says "Whats my name!" and my comp and I responded... "!benito sanchez!" and he was super happy saying !thats right! thats right! haha. the people we were teaching started laughing like crazy. I'm excited and ready the lead the zone this change and to baptize a lot. The area is in good shape and we have tons of people to teach. Some of our investigators have to get married first but were gonna do what we can to help em out. This week was great in terms of having good lessons with our investigators and we hope to continue doing that this week. I'm excited too to have another latino comp cause I need to perfect my spanish. We're gonna be working hard this week the days are already filled with appointments! |
