This week was pretty good untill Sunday. We did interchanges in my area I was there half the day with my distric leader Gomez and the other half with my Zone Leader Polito. It was suuuper good. We taught soooo many good lessons and found a lot of people. We had a lot of people with baptism dates. We were supposed to have 2 baptisms this week but they didn't go to church so they can't now. It's sooo sad because they are so interested in the gospel and then something always happens on Sunday so they can't go. We visited them on Saturday night and they were like yeah we're for sure gonna go tomorrow, but they couldn't go because the husband left to work early and couldn't take them, so we ended up with 0 in the church. We are going to see what we can do this week. We should definotely have a baptism this week though because the guy already went to church 3 times. We had a mulitzone and presidente machetied us pretty hard but he taught us a lot of new things to try. We are gonna put it in practice this week and see the results. I got my new shoes!!! I thought my shoes were doing really good untill I saw the new ones. Gulp. There is a big difference. I'll try to send some pics of that. The president's wife gave us a health and diet presentation. I realized that I have been eating really bad. I haven't bought anything from a pulperia since that day and I've been drinking a toooon of water. I feel a lot better now. I don't know if you guys remember Sara, that 15 year old gangster boss with crazy hair and tats. Anyway, this week some bros shot her so she's dead now. It's pretty sad because a member that is her friend was crying. I really like Alma 27 18. In this scripture it talks about how we can find joy. We must repent and humbly look for happiness. As members we already have found this joy in our lives or at least experienced a small part of it. We should always try to help people find the joy that comes by doing those things. One thing I've learned in my mission is that we should look at every person as a child of God. It doesn't matter what they look like or what they do. What matters is who they can become. That's why it's soo important to share the gospel with others so they can find this happiness and one day make it back to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with their families. The court where I schooled the gangstas! My old shoes This is what they look like when they're new! My basketball homie Bryson Childs will be coming to the mish soon! Pupusas
