Well kids it was preeeeetty hot again this week and its only getting worse until May when the rainy season starts up again. We were able to find a few positive investigators to teach. One of them is a girl that's married to a member. He's been a member for 36 years but she hasn't been baptized yet. Allll of the missionaries have tried teaching her and she always has the same doubts and questions so she always says no to being baptized. Well, this week we went to visit her with the bishop and we shared the restoration with her. We then showed her a video on the Book of Mormon. It was the talk by Callister when he talks about Joseph Smith and how it was litteraly impossible that someone translate the Book of Mormon without the help of God. It turns out that that was the doubt shed had about the Book of Mormon, but after the video she said that we did what no other missionaries were able to do--answer her questions and clear up her doubts. We felt really good after the lesson we were in there from 730 to 10! We didn't even eat dinner but it was such a spiritual experience.
The Coronel Zuniga, he's a member in our ward invited us to eat breakfast in the tecnical school for the armed forces suuuuper coool. They served us so nicely. When we entered they led us to his office and said what would you like coffee or gatorade super cool. We ate on some doooope big plates in his really elegant office. When the coronel arrived everyone saluted him with their hand and bowed like they do in the army. Then he gave us a tour of the school. As we walked through the halls it was totally like a scene from star Wars!!! I'm SERIOUS! The coronel was like Darth Vader and the soldiers were like the clones because as we walked behind him if a soldier passed he'd have to salute him and bow and we passed like 5 people and they all did the same thing. Hahaha it made me laugh soo hard haha. I really thought he was gonna start force choking those dudes! Hope you have a good week! Elder Sullivan
