Hey Amigos, How's it going? Todo tranquilo aqui en Las Mercedes. I can't believe this change is allready over!! It was a doooope time con Zapata mi chileno favorito! And now it's time for another change mis amigos!
Area: Las Mercedes (Same area) Companion: Elder Clegg I will also be the new District Leader here in Las Mercedes. I'm stoked and ready for this change. First gringo comp too ha,ha. I hope I can keep my Spanish flowin. Anyway I'd like to tell you a tad about my week! First of all I'd like to say.... It's a NEW YEAR! Let's make this year great! It's the perfect time to set goals, to lose or make habits! You feel? I will be in Honduras this whole year and tha'ts not a problem dude! I'm looking forward to continuie serving the people of this country! This week we went out to contact with a bro. His name is Fernando and he's 13. We actually found a pretty good investigator. Her name is Nancy. She is very interested in going to church! This week she had conjutivitis, but next week she's going. I can feel it. She's prob 40 years old and has 3 kids. The prob is that she's not married. Dang. We'll see how things go with her. We are having a baptism this Saturday. I don't know if you remember Natalie but she's cool. She's 9 and her family is inactive. But yeah I'm pretty excited for that if you ask me. So I bought this speaker for 1800 lemps and it broke the 3rd day after I bought it. I tried taking it back with my comp but the bro just pretended like it wasnt broke. I was pretty mad for paying that much money and getting una basura. So. This week I made a plan. I got the zone leaders to help me. We got ourselves together and went back. This time the dude was scared. We said a prayer that we could touch his heart to let us return the speaker haha. And it worked my friends. He took the speaker this time. I ended up having to spend 1800 lemps on stuff from the store so i bought a less expensive speaker that wasn't broke. We all good now! My comp is a master at making these things called Completos! It's a comida chileno. We bought a loaf of french bread and some other good ingredients. We cut the loaf in half and threw in some eggs, tomato, and sausage. I put chile on mine but my comp doesnt like it haha. We cut it in half and we each ate our own. Mmmmmmm. I have pics but on my comp's cam. I'll send them some day. Have a grrrreeeeeaaaat weeek!! Seeee yaaaaa!!! Elder Sullivan
