Yes! I finally got some more Hanz! Heyyyyyyyy creeds. Great week if you asked me!!! It was definitely filled with some ups and and a tad bit of downs! Anyway, I had to say bye to Santay, my District leader, and old comp. He left to La Pena. We celebrated his B day that day too. I'm officially the only gringo in the zone. Swweeeeet! I love that because it helps me with my Spanish! This week we worked suuuuper hard. We work hard every week but this week we went ham. Contacting every day like crazy. We ended up finding a lot of people to teach and some of them even went to church this week. We put some baptism dates down with them too! We are going to continue working with those dudes and try to find even more this week. The goal of our mission president is to baptize every week. We are going to start doing that starting this Saturday I hooope. I almost fell out of a taxi this week haha. We were walking with the elders of Pradera and some bro in a taxi rolled up and said he would drive us for free. We were like aight sounds dope and everyone started getting in the car. I was halfway in and the guy started goin! And he accelerated fast. I was like bro chill but he didn't even hear me for like 5 seconds. He finally stopped and I could close the door and get in all the way haha. The drivers here are crazy! My comp and I were walking down a hill in our area and we saw 4 school girls in their uniforms walking in the opposite direction. We were going to pass them and then 2 of them jumped up in my face and said you are so cute seriously soooo hot and all of them started sayin that. I was so creeped that i just kept waking and didn't say anything. Then they started talking to my comp telling him to tell me what they said in case I didn't understand them. This week our area has become very dangerous. And really scary too. About 6 people have been murdered including a member of my old ward in Pradera. We knew his brother really good and he's preparing to go on a mish. It's really sad that his older brother died. The older bro served in Guatemala and had about a year being home. Apparently he was walking to work in the morning and they shot him. When the forensics and police showed up to see what happened they were searching his body for wounds and they couldn't find anything. They took off his shirt, nothing. But then they rolled his body over and he had a hole in his face below his eye and his whole fam was there and they were all crying. Suuper sad. I met the dad and I even did divisions with him and he always told me how proud he was of his son for serving. He has 10 kids by the way and the one that died was the first son to serve a mish. The older brother even came to our ward 2 days before he was killed so we were talking to him a bit. Really sad but I'm glad that I know he is resting and in an even better place now. We had a lesson with one of our new investigators and baptismal date. We arrived to teach him and he told us that 10 feet away from us by the river some gangsters killed a guy like an hour before we arrived. The area is getting sketch but the Lord is protecting us. Love, Elder Sullivan I got my hump day (halfway package). Thanks family. It was super dope!! Me and my comp at the church.
