Our p-day last week was dope! We have 2 Mexicanos in the district so they made tacos. They made something called an alambre which is just a mix of a bunch of different meats. They were sooo good. We did service this week for some members. They are building an extention onto their house. They needed huge rocks in order to do it. So we hiked up this mountain and started searching for rocks. When we found one we just yelled "Chiva!" which means careful in Honduras. And we rolled it down. Then we had to put the rocks in a wheel barrow and wheel them to the house. The way back to the house is really steep and rocky so we had someone pushing the wheelbarow like normal and then we tied a rope on front and someone helped pull it. We made so many trips so I was dead afterward. Also I have a sunburn of death on my neck and it's the worst because I have to wear church clothes everyday. But it was worth it because they gave us dinner 3 times this week! This week we had an issue with the water. It usually arrives Tuesdays and Fridays but it never came. Also our pila was empty so we couldn't even shower with buckets. We went 4 days without showering! I'M SERIOUS, but we had no choice ya know! Finally one morning I was done. We walked to the house of the zone leaders with our towels and showered there. We have water now though so it's all chill man. I only have one more week in this grill and then i'm out! At least I hope. I'm excited to leave but it's a tad bit sad to say bye to my homies. Hey guys are you reading the Book of Mormon every day? I hope so because if we can read at least 15 minutes everyday we can recieve so much help in our lives! The Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion! By reading it daily we can move closer to God and have a bigger testimony of Jesus Christ. Also. One very important thing.... Don't just start reading the BOM out of nowhere, always start with a prayer to help you have the spirit to comprehend more and to recieve answers to your questions. Peace out guys and happy Mother's Day on Sunday!!!
