What's up jomies! All of the gangsters here say Jomi. It's pretty funny. I'm pretty happy because this week went very good. It started off with a dope p day with our zone. We played capture the flag at the church, had a water balloon fight, played some old man ball Latino version, which means we played soccer. And we ordered KFC to the church too. Pretty good stuff if you asked me.
The week was pretty normal until the end on the 15th. It was Independence day of Honduras. There were a ton of parades goin on, not close to our house though, but we were seeing on the tv for a bit. All of the high schools start their march on the boulevard but they all finish in the national stadium in Tegucigalpa and they march some laps on the track. We were watching the parade in the stadium and it was filled. IT was all chill but then someone threw a smoke bomb! And not a normal one. It's a very dangerous one that many countries have banned because people can become seriously injured. Anyway we just saw smoke come out of nowhere and then all of the stadium panicked and ran out of there! There were tons of people passed out, a lot of kids and babies crying. It was really sad and it was live tv! Everyone left the stadium because the police started throwing people to the ground trying to find who threw the bomb. They started punching all of the teenage dudes just thinking that it was them that did it. Independence day died right there. but I mean it's Honduras. Stuff like that happens all the time. That same day in the night we had a baptism!!!! Josue !! I knew he was gonna get baptized. I'm so happy for him. He didn't know who he wanted to have baptize him so he flipped a coin and Flores ended up doing it. It was a great experience. Flores and I ended up sharing our experiences with Josue and teaching him and the miracles that happened and then Josue talked too. It was a very spiritual experience. He was confirmed the next day. The changes are here, but they are different now. They just tell us today if we are leaving or not. My comp is out and I will be training these 2 changes here in Tiloarque. I'm suuuper excited because there's a lot of people to be baptized in these 3 months. On Tuesday i'll find out who my son is. Love you guys!!
